A unique identifier created and maintained by Ordnance Survey as part of AddressBase.
UPRNs are up to 12 digits long and represent individual land parcels or properties in Great Britain.

- UPRN includes non-postal locations
- UDPRN includes deliverable addresses only
- UPRN updated every 6 weeks, UDPRN daily
- One-to-one link exists between UPRN and UDPRN where both are present
- Northern Ireland UPRNs are not maintained in AddressBase
